Yes. He has more K's than any other player on the team, but his avg less than 1 K per game. Before tonight he had 56 AB with 16 K's. that's 40 times he's put the ball in play. So yes, he has been hitting all season.

I am pulling for him because he is great defensively and if he hits we have a greater chance of going to Omaha. I want to go back and see my friends there.
But the old "he's hitting it hard, just right at people" does not explain it all IMO. So this happened all last season? I hope he succeeds and his OB% is great because of his walks, which is great, but he has not hit well this season.

On base % is .400 due to 16 BB. That's great for a .230 hitter
