so...the lions, demons, &jags are louisiana's last hope to get in the tourney...

Demons actually have a decent squad...played plenty of good teams tough this season such as lsu
Southeastern...not so much. They have, however, already beaten SFA this season.
Southern is from the SWAC, so they would be in a play-in game if the win the swac tourney.
oh, and no way tech gets in with they way they ended the season.

Won the WAC even with losing 2 of their last 3 games. Lost to frickin' UTSA last night. #2 seed in NIT here they come.

Southern Jaguars, a team that beat A&M, is the #1 seed in the SWAC. If they win, they will be in one of the first 4 games.

Btw its been a few years now but I despise the southland having texas host it every year.
The old format brought out more fans, more interesting, amd rewarded higher seeds by home court. Which in a 1 bid league I think is a fair reward.

They might not stick Southern in the play-in game if they get in. Southern played a decent schedule for their level, and they might try to keep the same conference from playing in the play-in games every year. But who knows.
