Yep, my first one at age 6 - Oct. 25, 1969.
LSU 21 Auburn 20. The day my veins turned gold and my blood purple.
We sat in the lower SEZ behind the left pole of the goalposts, the end zone was painted orange with blue "A U" letters. Saw Andy Hamilton catch a halfback pass from Jimmy Gilbert on the first play from scrimmage to our end zone. Had to put my fingers in my little ears. :)
Never forget driving up Airline Hwy past the Snake Farm, Roussel's, Bluebird's, and Hopper's :)
