I'm not high on the NOLA kid from Pittsburgh..he hasn't really done anything since he's been in the league...That doesn't sound like a huge improvement from White or PRob...or anyone for that matter.

I'm not big on him either but that's mostly due to ignorance on my part.

The coaches may see something that we're missing but I would be disappointed if we spent anything considerable on him.

I think Woodson will give a contender discount to a team he feels is close. Ed Reed I think is trying to make bank again.

I'm most excited about Lewis being a real possibility. If ya aren't familiar my outline would be-

-3rd Rd pick by Steelers
-brought along slowly as the Steelers often do
-had some nice fill-in work for Polamalu when injured
-took over as fulltime starter last year
-he'll be 27 this year entering his prime

Had a very solid season as reflected by PFF FA CB ratings here

One good season isn't the track record of some other free agents. But that is a benefit to a cash strapped team like the Saints. One more year like last year and he would be getting elite out of our reach kinda money. Always a possibility he could give a little hometown discount as well. He sounds excited to visit.

Infusion of a not old up-n-comer at an affordable deal would be a 5 star signing IMO. Love signings on the upside rather than the downside hoping they can recapture a little of the past.
