Smaller countries are always bat-shite crazy when it comes to news publicity or international sporting events - they really think everything hinges on public perception or that people in America really give a shite about Hollywood portrayals.

The article also says an Iranian woman submitted a film to the Oscars, but then decided to boycott over the youtube video that's demeaning to Muslims. The one that the WH blamed Benghazi on. The one that has absolutely nothing to do with Hollywood or the Oscars.
