Who is "turning on Chavis"?
Now y'all are making shite up.
Can't wait to see some evidence of this.

As I said, "The bitterness toward an X LSU player who some didn't want to play over their own favorite player is amazing to behold."
You post only confirms the correctness of mine with respect to you.
It's 2013 and we still knocking on QBs who played the 2011 season.
Go figure....

Yet you hate the player, not the fans. Like some little kid.

Ah Lawd. You really haven't been paying attention.
Chavis, Shep, RR have been blasted by the cultists.
The cult members are afraid that Chavis gets more credit than Miles and it pisses them off.

Case and point. Eats you up, doesn't it?

Yes Rog, I'm seething in anger about it.
You are really going off the deep end with this.

Jarret Lee was never my favorite player. But I do feel strongly about this...
Jarret Lee bailed Les Miles out repeatedly in 2010 and made Les very rich man (contract after the season when he may have been fired at 8-4) by leading the offense down the field against Tennessee, Florida, and McNeese St when Jordan Jefferson couldn't. Yet, Les did nothing but kick Lee to the curb anytime Jefferson showed the slightest bit of good play. Lee was by far the better quarterback from September through October in 2010, but he was never given the opportunity to take more than a few series, while Jefferson was always coddled and protected by Miles.
You know what, don't respond to this, we've debated this plenty of times before. The point is that Jarret Lee wasn't my favorite player, and I don't "hate Jefferson" because Lee didn't get to play.

funny, you wanted JJ ro be reinstated and start after his suspension out of fairness to him.
your hypcrisy is ridiculous

I never said he should have immediately started or lobbied for it.

Dude, most people realize Chavis is the reason for LSU's great success the past few years. He has been getting hate because of it.
Give the man his due.

I love Chavis and would never not give him his due. I don't think you are understanding the argument that people are making. It isn't so much as not giving Chavis credit, people are taking offense at the ridiculous belief that Chavis is the only reason for success.

If that's your take...fine.
Your "feel strongly" should be directed toward the staff/Miles and not a QB who didn't put himself into the games and didn't call his own plays.
I understand JJ sometimes opened his mouth and inserted his foot, but this swell of distain/bitterness/hate is wayyyyyyyyy over the top for his sins. imo

I don't think you understand the argument that the defense is largely the difference between a slightly above average and a very good team. Chavis deserves much of the credit.

Chavis has been great for LSU since 09 and Miles has been great for LSU since 05.
Miles has made his mistakes as has Chavis.
I don't know of any threads out there hating on Chavis.
How he got into this is pretty amusing, but not surprising for the Rant.

No it's not.
But keep telling yourself that.
JJ brought this upon himself, wasn't something that just happened overnight.
4 yrs worth of ammunition is enough to sink any player... And that's what he gave LSU fans.
The most disappointing thing about JJ to me was as he got olderhe got worse, on and off field.
Maybe this us last time cops and a Jefferson LSU football player will ever be used same sentence again.

And you keep telling yourself that a lot of your displeasure with JJ doesn't come from the simple fact that the LSU staff saw him as their best option rather than Lee.

This comment only shows how deep your dislike for the guy who put Lee on the bench goes. You are ready to judge his brother guilty of something and send him on his was cause his last name is the same as the guy who started over your favorite.
I would suggest it was time for you to let it go, but I know you can't.
