All valid points. That is the way it goes unfortunately. Yes Bama has won the last 3 out of 4, but they have had a lot of luck and help getting to that point. The two programs are neck and neck for being the two best teams in college football over the past few years.

Thanks. That was EXACTLY the point of my post. I get so tired of hearing all the wailing and gnashing of teeth by those who think the program is "in decline," etc. when the reality is that we are right there with the best of the best, in spite of the problems we've had on offense since '07.

It comes down to desire, competitive spirit and the will to win. There is little to no talent difference between LSU and the other top teams out there, but in a couple of games last year the team folded in the end. Hopefully some leadership will step up on the field and change this.
