I remember Boise State running a triple option out of a wing formation before they became good enough to line up on offense in a pro set. I think Oregon ran a lot of triple option out of the wing about ten years ago too.
I'd say the problem will be recruits, but it's not like Duke was getting great recruits anyway.

As a 1AA team? Boise State has been a "pro set" team since at least Houston Nutt. You are probable thinking of another team
