quote:
14 double doubles in 49 games. That's a double-double in 29% of his games.
Interesting fact: Kevin Durant has only 1 more double double than AD23 this season. He is also tied with players such as Marc Gasol and David West.
I wonder in how many games has he played 30+ minutes? I'd like to see his double-double percentage for those games.

In 19 games with 30 or more minutes, Davis has 11 double-doubles...57.9%
Those 8 games of 30+ minutes that he didn't get a double-double include:
25 points, 9 rebounds
10 points, 9 rebounds
8 points, 10 rebounds
9 points, 13 rebounds
13 points, 8 rebounds
...just speculation here, but I took his double-double percentage of 30+ minute games and applied it to our 64 games played.
So if he was healthy all season and played 30+ minutes every night, that projects to 37 double-doubles (which would be 2nd in the NBA)....doesn't quite work that way, but Davis will be a double-double machine.
Among all players who average less than 30 minutes:
He's 6th in double-doubles.
...8th in rebounds.
...5th in blocks.
...20th in steals.
Among PFs who average less than 30 minutes:
He's 2nd in double-doubles (8th overall).
...3rd in scoring (16th overall).
...3rd in rebounding (11th overall).
...2nd in blocks (4th overall).
...1st in steals (3rd overall).
Among rookies:
He's 1st in double-doubles.
...1st in rebounding.
...4th in scoring (last in minutes of the top 4).
...1st in blocks.
...1st in steals (pretty impressive).
Ya, this guy's a stud.
