I think displaysia is purely genetic. The guarantee I got with my dog was that at 18months I have her hips checked. If she had it, the breeder would pay for the test and give me a new pup or 1/2 my money back. I never bothered having her tested because she was not going to be bred.

Well Im not breeding the dog. But I dont want one with bad hips that may cost me a small fortune down the line
