Get the official study guide and check out Khan academy. I think he is still on the 11th edition. These helped me a ton.

Khan GMAT

Plus when you officially sign up and pay for the test they allow you to download some very useful material, practice test, etc....

I paid for 5 practice tests from Manhattan Prep or something like that. I took one full-length practice test to gauge my level. Then I bought a GMAT questions book from Princeton Review.

When you get a question right, the test asks you a harder question; when you get one wrong, it asks you an easier question. I studied questions in the tier ABOVE where I was scoring, the thought being those were the questions I was missing. Studied for about two weeks during the summer between my junior and senior year of school with a 720 being my highest practice test score. Took the test and scored a 740, so I guess it worked haha.
