A scouts job is to evaluate a player. I imagine that he might be able to tell that a guy, who ended up running an elite time, does not have "average speed" just from watching game tape.

It's funny because its the same language used to describe every white skill player and in this instance they were dead wrong. The fact that the NFL removed the seemingly innocuous line (haven't checked, but I'm going to guess the other posters aren't lying) about an hour after a popular blog pointed it out, makes it even funnier.
