quote:I went back to page 2 or 3 and found the exact quote:
ee tetu you left out part of the quote it was kind of important. I said they aren't groundbreaking, because they aren't. They're a local brewery that makes decent beer.
quote:
I asked this here because I love beer, but I mostly drink Bud Light. I've tried lots of local and non local craft beers. I don't get the love for Canebrake, and it seems like the Yats are just NOLA fan boys because I wasn't blown away.
quote:Actually, when people talk about how great Bud Light is I usually sit quiet. I might throw one light jab but most of our F&DB Beer community doesn't really have a problem with it, even when someone drinks BMC in a FBD Thread. We are tolerant of different people and thier choice of drink for the most part.
No one is entitled to an opinion if it doesn't agree with yours.
This thread blowing up was not a result of your opinion, tastes in beer, etc. It was the way you handled it from start.
Great marketing though. You've done a great job getting your name and location out there without spending a dime.

I assure you it was unintentional. Im not smart enough to make this happen on purpose.
You quoted me saying Nola has a few good beers. You didn't finish my quote in that I said they weren't groundbreaking.
Let me ask you all something, is there anything wrong with finding simple non complex things good? I see a bunch of stuff on the fdb that makes it seem like everyone wants caviar on their hamburgers. What's wrong with some fresh ground meat over an open flame and a soft bun with a few normal everyday condiments? Is it uncool to want something simple and good?
