Our season tickets go to my parents and I have pretty much been under a rock for the past couple of months (being productive believe it or not)...what is, or was, the deadline to request LSU/TCU tickets? Any other info would be great. Thanks.

Have not seen this yet, the away game requests usually come in a few weeks though as I recall fwiw. OK it comes to me now, the away requests will be sent out in April sometime and due by May 31st with the home tickets.

A&M fans don't get discounts.

seems like TCU not being a nationally ranked team to start the season that these tickets should be much easier to come by and more affordable in the second hand market than the Oregon tickets

Except that TCU is a nationally ranked team, but other than that....

ULL took them all...

These will probably be more than Oregon tickets actually, since TCU fans are located so much closer to Cowboys stadium...a lot closer than LSU fans too.

You said to start the season, so showing me 2012 rankings is 100% irrelevant to your point.

They may not be "official". I guess you are referring only to USA Today or Coaches Polls, but there have definitely been preseason ranking released from different outlets. Here is one that includes TCU ranked at 18 for your viewing pleasure. When the official preseason poll comes out, you can fully expect TCU to be a top 25 team barring something happening. Basically, you are wrong.

all i know is that they weren't ranked to finish the season after a 7-6 record, and no official polls are out, so anything now is speculation, so basically you aren't sure whether you're right or wrong

You said to start the season next year, so you still aren't making any sense with this.

you're twisting my statement around.
i initially said that they wouldn't be ranked to start the 2013 season, yes
then i went on to say that they weren't ranked to finish last season.
and then stated that no current polls are out.
one would guess that if they aren't ranked to finish a season that they wouldn't be ranked to start the next season, of course i know it has happened in the past, but there is a very slim chance that they'll actually be in a poll
I was using last years unranked season ending and 7-6 finish as how they likely won't be ranked when we play them.

I don't know what to tell you other that you are going to be wrong on this one. You can bookmark this if you would like until the first poll comes out next season, but I would fully expect TCU to be in the top 25 in the opening poll.

I think this is completely inaccurate.
I don't think you realize how many TCU fans there are in that region... while Oregon had to travel half the country to get there.

i know but do they even fill their 50K seat stadium?
Posted on 2/25/13 at 3:16 pm to Ignignot
Yup, sure do. You do realize that they are expanding their stadium?
