West Ham United Football Club--2008ish. Went through a selection process and chose them because of they weren't a top 4 team and I had a friend who liked them and talked about them alot.
Barcelona--2010 or so. Watching Barcelona play allowed me to really see the game in a different way. The give and go along with precision passing along with the greatness of Messi sold me on them.

When I was a kid I was obsessed with LSU football. I love the tradition and the fan base's reputation as loud, raucous, obnoxious, and loyal (this was before Saban and the negatigers). Night games is Tiger Stadium were world famous, just as European nights at Anfield. I wanted to choose my EPL team based on the same type of qualities and Liverpool's fans jumped out at me after I started watching games. Couple that with my family heritage/location and the fact that Liverpool won the treble in '01, my decision was made.
