- Hickey was no doubt the spark plug to the comeback in the last couple of minutes. I was really surprised that Jones held him out as long as he did in the second half, but the timing seemed to work perfectly.

Coach said it wasn't disciplinary, but there was an obvious tuffle between the two if you were watching. Hickey wanted in much earlier. I didn't think he was gonna get off the bench for the rest of the game, but I was happy he did.

I agree that JOB did great with the double team as the game went by and that bringing in the slashing players was a major benefit for JOB.

LSU definitely packs in and allows teams to shoot the three. It's crazy that LSU's 3 pt % defense is second in the SEC because I do think they leave too many people open.

Good stuff. I think Stringer may have played his most complete 15 minutes of basketball in the overtime periods. His progress this year has been great. I think JOB's play down low is giving him that extra spacing to square up and drill his shot.

The thing that really hurts when Hickey comes out is if Collins comes in like this game. Although he didn't hurt us too badly, I still don't have any confidence in him.

Although this was a great win for us, there are still some things that drive me crazy. First and foremost are the lazy, sloppy passes. There is no excuse for this. Sometimes they throw such high slow passes that I think I could steal one and I am 65 and way over the hill. They made some good passes in this game but still too many sloppy ones, especially in the first half.

Another thing already mentioned is not closing on the three point shooters and especially the last two games leaving the guy with the super hot hand open.

And last but not least interior defense. Yes we may have out rebounded them but at critical times late in the game there are almost always two or three tip ins or easy put backs that kill us. Please let Odo live up to press release and defend the basket for us next year.
