Great, great player - maybe could have been the best college player ever if he hadn't left LSU early for the NBA. Screwed up in the NBA with his anti-American shenanigans. Sad story, but I don't feel sorry for him one bit - he made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.

This is such a close-minded statement. I disagree with Jackson's philosophy, but he did not harm anyone. All he did was sit during the National Anthem, and explained that he felt uncomfortable giving allegiance to anyone but God. He also said America had a history of tyranny and oppression. Is that really an incorrect statement? It is up for interpretation, and it is clear that Chris Jackson had very well thought-out beliefs. He had convictions and stood by them. You may disagree with his convictions, but I doubt you have the strength he did to stand by them with what was at stake, both publicly and financially.
