This for sure... the real question in my mind is where will you be fishing? How steep are the ramps? You may possible want to spend your money on a 4x4 1/2 ton vs trying to get into a 3/4 ton rig depending on what your budget will allow.
4 wheel drive sure is nice on those steep wet ramps covered in slim.

Probably the number one reason to own a 4x4 IMO. I have been to several ramps that on low tide the rear tires are in the water and on slick ramp. Without 4x4 you will be launching more than your boat
