the ruger commander is fine, but i really would like a blued frame buttt It might make me change my mind. I like your S&W a lot too. The Tactical series may just have to come another day becuase of the price

I doubt Bud's has them right now, but they had my exact one listed for a little under $1100 last I checked. They're probably out of stock though.

The only differences between the tactical model and the regular one are night sights and a rail. If you get the standard one with 3 dot sights and no rail, it's around $800-$900.
Thanks Dr! I think the S&W1911s are beautiful with the fish scale serrations. And the external extractor doesn't bother me at all. It would only bother me if it didn't work.
