This shite is going to haunt him for the rest of his life in ways he doesn't yet comprehend. Thanks to the internet, it'll come up every time he applies for a job, and the potential employer will wonder if he'll pull some kind of sabotage if things don't go his way at work.

And all his peers who think it was great will see it as the douche move it was once they get a little maturity on them after high school.

He's going to spend the rest of his life trying to live this down in one way or another. It's not like a criminal record or anything, and it's not insurmountable. But once in a while it'll jump up and remind him of how stupid actions have consequences.
