that's a major point. but the kid still shouldn't have punished the rest of his team by scoring on his team.

it was his coach he was pissed off at, presumably not his team-mates

I have mixed feelings on this but one thing I will not let my kid do is quit. The little league team he played on last year was loaded with father coaches who all thought there kids should bat 1st thru 4th and pitch and play the in-field. We didn't win a game. I told my son to just play hard and learn as much as you can because there is always next year. This year he's playing on the school team and is playing third base where he should have played last year.
