Civil War gets my highest recommendation.

"The War" has been much tougher for me to get into.

The excellent BBC series "World at War" I also recommend, but I'm not sure if it has made it to Neflix.

Also, both the book and film - Killing Pablo - Mark Bowden as the author and is the same author of Blackhawk Down and Guests of the Ayatollah.
