I was debating between this guy and the CB I just took. I decided that I would pick Morrow next round. Back to the drawing board...

In the 15th round, Suntiger selects Tavares Garner, CB from aTm.
5'11"
170 lbs
4.45 fourty
Some here will remember that he almost got an offer from LSU at the summer camp last year. The coaching staff liked him, but I think they liked others a little more. Plays with a lot of attitude and has good ball skills.

Write ups on my last two picks:
Naashon Hughes, OLB/S
This kid is a big Texas fan. He was offered a grayshirt, and even though he had offers from some pretty big schools, he accepted it. Well, come December, a scholly opened up, and he received it. At 6'4" 215 lbs, Hughes has the size that I wanted as my OLB. However, watching his tape, I realized that this kid can be in coverage very easily. So I decided to try something with my defense. Depending on how the rest of the draft unfolds, I will use him as an OLB/SS hybrid. In a sense, the defense will resemble a form of the 46. It will come from a base 34, with the SS being the additional "man in the box". Versatility is what I need to run this thing, and that is exactly what I have in just about all of the athletes on my defense so far.
Defense:
DE: Randy Gregory
DT: Kenneth Clark
DT/DE:
SAM: Takkarist McKinley
MIKE: Jon Reschke
TED: Kendell Beckwith
WILL:
SS: Naashon Hughes
FS: Marcell Harris
CB: Vernon Hargreaves III
CB: Brendan Langley
Now I can still change it up a bit depending on who I draft the rest of the way. Beckwith for instance is probably out of place. I would rather him in the SAM spot, but for now he is there. Naashon is labeled in the "SS" spot, but if I can get a certain couple of other players, he would probably fit into the WILL spot.

Travis Johnson, TE Cinci
I love the mini fro. Anyway, I was all set to draft a certain TE (who is still available actually), but I came across this kid. Very athletic who most saw as a WR in college a couple of years ago. I then looked at his film and saw he is pretty good at getting open and has great hands. not that great of film and does need to put some weight on. This however is not what impressed me. its his offer list. His list. If he is good enough to get that type of offer list, then I think he is pretty special.
