Here's a fricking interesting thought... Is the MLS indirectly causing more harm to US Soccer than it is helping?

if the players who play in the MLS weren't playing here, what league would they be playing in? would they be developing their skills further there than they are here?

Maybe currently, but it will be more beneficial in the long run.

(I'm assuming you're talking about Latino's improving in our league and then beating us on the international stage?)
