I don't think it's week at all. Professional athlete or not, when you're used to 30-40 degree weather, then dropped into an 85 degree environment, you're going to have problems.

Geoff didn't have stamina issues and he has been subjected to freezing cold sleet storms in Stoke.
Like I said, GAM is in the offseason and was arguably our most active and fit player out there. If our professional athletes cannot deal with a temperature change during the peak fitness season for WC qualifiers, then we have major issues. Remember that it isn't just our guys who have to go through this. Every team in the HEX has at least a couple European and/or MLS players.
