It really doesn't matter.
Classes 1-10 are all so close in talent that it won't make much of a difference on the field.
As a program, I think you shoot for Top 10. If you land that class, you're successful and you have plenty enough talent to compete with the school who had the #1 class.
Look at LSU's class last year......ranked outside #10? How many true freshmen started and how many had playing time?
It's fun to keep track of all these guys and hope you get elite talent, but in the end with the rankings....#1 class isn't that much of a difference to justify saying that your class is leaps and bounds ahead of #10's.
