The Saints aren't fricked by Brees' deal because they will have a great offense as long as he is there. They are more fricked by other deals to overrated players on the defense(smith, Harper, Vilma to extent )
Sanchez is a bad contract . Period.
All teams are burdened by cap hits. You have to pay good players.
How many teams in the playoffs have cheap QBs that aren't on their 1st contract? That's just the reality of the NFL.
There haven't been many mediocre QBs to win SB in the last 2 decades.
& far as Lewis, he is prob the 6 or 7th best player on the defense at this point. I don't think you throw in the towel cause you lose him
