Raven's player's right hand/arm hit Akers plant foot.
It doesn't take much contact on a kicker's plant foot to bring them down, and you have to protect kicker's in that situation. It was a legit call.

That was not a flop. Akers was on the sideline half injured for a large part of the game after this kick. If it was a flop then why was he over on the sideline trying to get loose for the rest of the game. Even Simms said that could have easily been a 15 yarder. I will trust his knowledge on the matter more than yours.
