First off thenry....you are a JACKASS and a condescending one at that !
Most everyone "understands" TV rights and how it generally works. However, ANY nation which values it's own national teams, will exert some for of national pride on it's own broadcasters...basically mandating that important away games ARE broadcast back to the core of the nation. For example, do you think for one second, that Spanish,German,Brazilian or English national team WC qualifiers are NOT on a NATIONAL network ???
Not a chance in hell, my overly opininated friend !
My point was....our own national team carries virtually no weight with the US based broadcast market and I'd like to see this situation changed for the better !
Last time I "tapped" into a 3rd rate network, it left my relatively new computer with a boatload of problems.

Spain recently played a World Cup Qualifier or friendly (against Belarus) that wasn't even on Spanish television. England games occasionally only air for pub broadcasts.

Yes the best national team in the world didn't have one of its game air because Belarus sold the rights to a third party
