I'm sure the almost blocked punt is not the information the original poster was searching for. He did nothing of offensive value. This kid should have been a rb and bulked up if he stood any shot to make it to the next level, but he couldn't at lsu with our stable. Now he has to rely on special teams to get him to the league and I don't see it. Shep was a great ambassador for our school and a talented athlete, but as you can see now in 2 all star games, he just did not develop enough at lsu. He really needed to go to a school that ran the zone read offense.

He doesn't have the frame to bulk. And if he did bulk, he would lose whatever speed he had. He would be either a WR or a DB at the next level outside of special teams. I wonder how he would've done if he had gone the DB route at LSU like Morris Claiborne did. The depth this past season was certainly favorable.
