I responded to your post about that quite a few pages back.

I went read it. I see the logic... just figured we would all stick together brother.
I do agree that you guys loose more to privates than SL in terms of players going else where. There is talk that Holy Rosary might make it a K-12 school... and then the magnet you told me about... Parish is growing man.

-I remember some players going to JT... but I belive it had more to do with some trouble off field than anything else. I was actually neighbor to one of these kids that went to Curtis.

Yea yea yea the SL recruited it title team back in 98. Been down that road a ton on here... haters gonna hate
We will see what this new football coach brings you guys. I can't wait!

Bouzigard the principal there and that dude is about as hardcore Tarpon fan as they get. He was the coach of those "recruited" teams hahaha. If that were to happen I doubt he'd let the school do anything to hurt Tarpon athletics.

It wasn't any of that. All dozen or so that went to Curtis were good kids. It was just a few kids at first but when the former head coach, and at the time assistant coach of SL sends his kid to Curtis the floodgates opened. I remember SL fans complaining that parents of the kids that went to Curtis were in the stands at bantam games and even South Lafourche games talking to players parents trying to "encourage" them to send their kids to Curtis too.

You got that right, and regardless if there was a split or not I think for the most part the Terrebonne/Lafourche teams with the coaching/administration hires made over the past few years were heading in the right direction.
