Yeah, the kids and wives thing doesn't bother me. But a deep murder involvement where he snitched on his buddies and then paid the family off (13 Mil) with a confidentiality clause? Yeah, that tells me the guy has something to hide.

I honestly don't give a shite about that, either.
It's his money.
Remember, that payment took place AFTER the trial, so his payment to them would only have averted a civil case, where the standards are MUCH, MUCH lower than a criminal case. If they wanted to go after him for being "responsible" for the killings, they could have and perhaps gotten much more than the $13 million (or nothing at all, depending on how the jury in a civil trial would have decided).
So his settling was the smart decision, and in no way shows that he's "hiding" anything.
It's his money.
