3 years later and I'm still not much a fan of it. I did learn a valuable lesson with that back splash, sometimes the few dollars you save doing it yourself are not worth the pain in arse you go through doing the work..

I hear you. I'm not a fan of the colored glass tile back splash. It's going to be dated in a few years when the trend turns to something else. Classic subway tile or nothing is my preference.
Either way, that was quite nice of your wife to hook you up with all that beer.
