We don't get the ice storms like yall do. It's usually either rain or snow or a mixture. Yall probably laugh off 7 inches of rain, but up here 7 inches of rain floods out the valleys real quick. Just throw another quilt on the bed and another lawg on the far. Works for us!

If I could, I sure would. Got kinfolk close to Angus (Pike County, Ala.) and not too far from you. They said it was still mighty dry down there.

Yeah, I been watchin yall's rain for about a week now. Knew it was headed this way. Would much rather have the rain than the snow. They even called off school yesterday, today, and tomorrow on account of flooded out roads. Probably call it off Friday for snow. Told the granddaughters to enjoy their spring break this week...

Hey NF, the infield area at Bristol Motor Speedway was under 1 foot of water at 2 pm today. All those parking areas outside the track by the creek were under about 18 inches of water. You'd hafta swim or take a boat to get to the track now.

That much rain that quick up here would send a lot of the folks here in the valley scramblin up the side of Clinch Mountain to high ground.
