Well, I wouldn't worry TOO much. The Caps have a 2-point lead, a game in hand, and old the tiebreaker over Winnipeg. If the Caps beat the Jets when they play, the Jets' maximum number of points is 54 (and that would mean them going 5-0). The Caps would need to go 3-3 in their remaining games to reach 54.
It gets a lot harder if the Caps lose to the Jets. Assuming that, the teams would be tied with a game in hand for the Caps. If the Jets won out, they would have 56 points. the Caps would need to go 5-1 to match that.
Beat the Jets. Make the playoffs. It's pretty much that simple.

Didn't the caps just beat the Jets? If so aren't you playing the Jets at home? The way the Capitals have been playing lately i would think they are a lock...
