We had 1 very good offensive game, but lost. Bama had one pretty bad game and lost.

Bama had 1 exceptional game on the same night that we had our worst game and they won handily....although even there it was very close on the scoreboard into the 3rd quarter. I call 12-0 still close but fully admit things were very much in Bama's control that night.

Make the same comparison for just the regular season games during the NS tenure at Bama. Admitting that 1/9 was our worst and their best.... That happens and it did. Other than that the record, coaching, and scores are VERY even i suspect.... So the "gap" is not wide....but that seemingly slim difference has been enough to set them atop the college football world in the past 4 years.

Good stuff solid facts. Thx

We almost go 2 TE's 100% of the time.

With Clement gone, Edwards and Dickson, and Desean coming in we might be able to actually use those two tight end sets more effectively now. along with the more experienced and healthy line it could make a world of a difference for those tight ends to chip then hit the second level quickly.

What's crazy about that game is as bad as it was for most of the game, we had a great chance to make it a 1 score game late in the third. Just after we crossed mid field for the only time, Landry was wide open on a third down throw that would have been a TD had JJ been able to get it there. Hard to imagine it could have been a 15-7 game and more than a quarter to go.
