quote:The longer nothing is actually done in the direction of making some staffing moves, the less chance I think there is of actual improvement next season. No improvement will increase the velocity of LSU's plummet from the ranks of football's elite. And will accelerate Les Miles' admitted happiness that underclassmen will declare early for the NFL, so he'll recruit all the harder on that selling point, result of which will further destabilize the fabric of our Tiger team identity, as no one sticks long enough for any serious rebuilding to occur - which will then all but cement the dreaded return of the legendary 90s. And then Les will happily retire, oblivious to the wake of destruction he will leave behind.
Its just that some fans have more confidence in the ability of Les to orchestrate that change. Others (like me) believe that he needs help making the necessary decisions to address the problem. And, I don't want to see another off season go by without there being significant constructive changes that make sense!
