Quote: because you said that talent is the only reason Miles wins (which is asinine in itself)...then in the same breath you say Miles can't develop talent and the players regress....even after we just had 10 juniors declare for the draft.

1. Would Miles win if he were coaching lets say ole miss, miss st,, mizzou, Kentucky, heck ill even throw Auburn in there for a wrench. Do you honestly think Miles would have 8,9,or 10 win seasons consecutively if he were the head coach at any of these programs?

Better question would you agree that LSU is better talented than Clemson, if so why did we loose that game?

Quote: So you think Miles wins on talent alone?
Most games LSU has far superior talent than their opponent, so in those games it won't matter who the coach is, I remember saying how LSU was going to beat the brakes off of Oregon last year (yes I was ridiculed when I made that statement...on an ESPN thread) and what happened? I still say the only PAC team right now that could give any SEC team trouble was Stanford because of how their talent is spread out across their team offensively and defensively.

So in essence for about 8 of his wins is pure talent, and for every loss it's Coaching since we'd agree LSU would have had the better talent or equal talent (Bama).

shite happens...why did bama lose to A&M...or better yet...why did they lose to ULM in '07?

this is just frickin' stupid and the reason you can't have a logical conversation on this board

Jesus

so...let me get this straight....what you're saying is basically all these players that Miles has recruited could've come straight out of high school, never practiced, never had team meetings, never had film study, never had weight training (all held by our shitty coaches) and won over 80% of their games, 3 SEC West titles, 2 SEC championships, 1 NC, played in another NC, and win 13 straight in '11......because they're so super duper talented.

see Rant....this is why we can't have nice things.

Well he won at Oklahoma St. So I'll say yes.

I don't even know where to start addressing how stupid your posts have been. I'll just attack you're idiotic argument.

If you premise is talented players under Miles have regressed, how can LSU be as talented as Alabama? So if we agree that talent regresses and LSU isn't the most talented team, then Miles must be winning games based on his coaching?
