The ducks are there, well first split at least. It tough, some days its hot others its dead. Very tough hunting, the marsh is a bitch. You can have some good hunts, keep on trucking, prob give it a rest though, haven't been many ducks since 2nd split opened up.

Yeah, opening day on the first split was crazy! Heard shots all over the place. I kind of held back because I didn't want to do anything wrong on the first day.

I'm gonna try and hunt it next season being we never get birds early

Thanks, dude. Would you say they have been closer to the tree line, east of Lake Road, or is that just my imagination?
