Thinking about making a trip like this for Mardi Gras (Feb 8-12) What would be the best river to go down if I were trying to get into some good trout fishing? Would it be too cold this time of year to even consider it?

It will def be cold and with all the rain were getting chances are it will be very fast. That means it will be hard to stay dry. After getting cold rain and even snow the first weekend in April, I wouldnt go back before then. I like fast water though and rapids so I dont like going much after that either.
