RG3 tore his ACL in college, and still was very mobile.

He might lose a step, but I think his mobility won't ALL be gone with this injury.

To your point, I think they will still keep read option plays in the playbook, but not use them as extensively as they did this season.

Remember, RG3 is a rookie. Hes gonna get better at reading defenses. I honestly don't think they will completely change their offense because of this.

6-8 months seems quick. He's 22, the redskins should resist the urge to bring him back so quickly.

I wouldn't abandon the read option just scale it back.

He's got top tier down the field passing accuracy. Posts, corners, seam throws off play action, etc. Get the guy a big smart tight end who can catch passes in middle of field.
