For the record, I always said OSU should have gone over Bama last year. I think Bama was the best team in the country, but they lost AT HOME during the regular season. OSU lost on the road to a team I believe at least won their bowl game (don't quote me on that). If that OSU jersey said Ohio State, with the same resume, Bama is home and Ohio State is playing for the marbles

Perception means so much in CFB. I mean, USC and Michigan could play 10 times and go 5-5 or 2-8 one way or the other; all that matter is that South Carolina pulled it out on 1/1/13

Good points.

I go back and forth on how I think voting should be done. If it was done on the merit of who was the best team then yea you should have had Bama in the Title Game last year. However, if you're doing it on who's resume has the most merit than Oklahoma State absolutely should have been there.

I'm not saying there's a right or wrong way to do it, just wish it was more clear which metric they go by.
