Prominent...you are a good poster so I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Bowls matter a great deal in the big picture of the program namely recruiting or TV exposure....

You think a Coach wont use a team playing in an inferior bowl in recruiting..

see Steve Spurrier saying, you can't spell Citrus without UT....

Florida was in the Sugar Bowl but played a shittier team than we did

Disagree. Chik-Fil-A was fine to play in.

They got exposure on TV.

I'm sure they'll be on TV many of times next year just like they have been for the last 3-4 years.

The '13 class is ranked in the top 5 in the country and the '14 class is looking even better.

Again, if it's not the Championship Game, the bowl game, in all honesty, is completely irrelevant. I'm sure LSU would have liked to play in a bigger bowl because of the payout, but other than that, I don't see the big deal.
