You might want to tell Les that, then. Les has told him and the family they want him as a change of pace back. No comparison to Michael Ford at all, Ford has no change of direction whatsoever. You are also wrong on the weight, he is every bit of 190 now. He benches 305, squats 595 and ran a 4:37 just before school broke for the Holidays.

Have heard the same about him being a solid 190 and not to let his speed and shiftyness fool you, he can run with power.(similar to how everyone overlloks how strong and well built Brazil is)
As far as him not fitting the offense, we have to try something different. What we currently do doesn't work. We need kids that can test the edge of the line of scrimmage consistently. Even if they're used mostly as decoys, those speedy guys are needed.
As for Les not knowing how to use a kid like Palelei, when has Les had a kid like Palelei? I keep hearing how we don't know how to use those type of backs but the truth is, we've never had one. Anyone that brings up Gore doesn't know what kind of back Gore really was.(hint he wasn't anything like Palelei). The closest things to a shifty, speedy back we've had was Holliday(way too small to be a consistent force) and Shepard(would you put the ball in his hands more than 3-4 times in the running game). I just do:kt get the constant comment about how Les doesn't know how to utilize speedier backs. There's no basis or factual evidence to prove it.

Wow! Kudos to the kid who ran him down at about 33 seconds into the video.
