LSU fans and the LSU program have come to expect that we are in the hunt for a NC every year. We were this year, last year, and won it in '07. Teams in CFB don't win titles every year. You have a select few who win a couple in a short time period. We are one of those teams, 2 titles in 5 years. That isn't the norm. Does Miles make mistakes? yes. Does he run a really good program? yes. Miles has shown in the past that he is willing to make changes when things aren't going well. Let's see what he does. It's easy to Monday morning QB and God knows the rant has about 300 of them, but none of us has sat in his spot with all the stuff that has to get done on a daily basis to have a top 5 program year in and year out.

Many have said it before. If you part with Miles, who do you get? There is only one name in the country that would make the rant happy and he's not coming. So as much as I get frustrated with our offense and our 2 minute defense and the minimal amount of losses we've had over the past 2 years, when you step back and put the emotion aside, the program is in good hands.

Everyone always wants what they can't have until they get it, then they want something else. If a 10-win season is a tragedy for LSU's football team then I think we are on the right track. All we can ask is to have a team that is capable of winning it all. THe execution, luck, coaching, etc. all have to fall into place for you to win and none of it fell for LSU this year.

Lastly, for all those that say Miles is hurting the program, what happens when you hire the necxt guy and LSU goes 8-5, 9-4, 8-5? Now you are changing coaches again....which is more detrimental to the program. There is a reason why large successful companies don't like to make changes often at the top, it's because continuity is better than constant change in leadership. Reality is, we may be looking at a top 5 class coming in for '13, we played a ton of freshmen this year, and '14 may be the best year in LA highschool for talent in years. The future is very bright for LSU, so please stop with the whole "Miles is hurting LSU." He isn't. He makes mistakes just like any human would. Let's see how he addresses them here in the off-season.

Can't wait until September, I hate when CFB season is over
