I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around losing $150 on it just because I function tested it with 50 rounds when I finished putting it together. If I have to I'll offer it as a complete "pistol" with a pistol lower I have laying around. Maybe a complete gun will add more value to it.

There are a few reason why. Mainly because the AR market is flooded with cheap parts and someone looking to spend $600 on an upper without BCG/CH is going to build it to their specs themselves or buy one from a manufacturer. You've got some good parts on there, but it takes a specific person to want that exact setup. It may take a while to find that exact person. Also, in the gun world used it used. Even though manufacturers test fire their guns it doesn't matter. 50 rounds through a gun a random guy built might as well be 300 rounds. Lastly, it's because you built it. You may have executed the build perfectly, but you don't have any credibility or a warranty. A franken-build is usually worth less than the sum of it's parts. Something is only worth what the next guy is willing to pay, or how quick the current guy wants it gone.
