Is that a good one to start with? I may try talking my wife into letting me get it, or just get it and not tell her.
ETA: I want to say it had Milspec on the tag as well. Is that a different model?

Yea, one of my favorite Youtube channels, Sturmgewhere, said its one he would recommend for a first AR.
