yep. I plan on continuing to live in America, so If NATO forces are engaging the population where I will be, they are likely also engaging the US military.
In my humble opinion, the most likely scenario is a small EMP blast a couple hundred miles up, centered over the United States. This would knock out the grid and disable 99.9% of all electronic technology including the military's. They have known about this threat for years and have failed to protect their technology against it through EMP hardening waivers because of what I would consider to be a fairly insignificant cost.
It would take at least 1.5-2 years to begin to get the grid back up and everyone with food would be battling the starving masses to keep it. That could heat up your rifle. Just sayin'.

I figure Barry ain't beyond slipping in bed, under the covers with NATO on our arms situation. I hope I'm wrong.
