I personally don't get all the LSU hype. Since 2005 they have played in the following non BCS games.

Capital One - 2
Peach/Chick Fil A - 3 Counting this season
Cotton - 1

A good team, but far from dominant. Say what you want about the 2008 National Title (2 losses). Last season was the only season I give LSU credit for being a top 2-3 dominant team.

I guess you don't bother counting the 2 National Championships and the Sugar Bowl that they played in during the same time frame. What a great point you make.

You know, I love that we all have the freedom to voice our own opinions in this great country, but yours really isn't worth a wooden nickel.

LSU's record against top-25 and top-10 opponents speaks for itself, as does our bowl record. If LSU isn't a top 5 team over the past 10 years, there is no top 5.

Here's a little fun fact for you: if any other team in the nation beat Ohio State in that game, they also would have had at least 2 losses, and would have also played about half as many ranked teams.
