Lacouture is actually from CT. He played 1 year of high school ball in Texas. They moved here to get more exposure for him.
That said, I think the premise of this thread is entirely wrong. The people most impacted by our recruiting are people who depend on their talent from Texas. LSU doesn't. It's supplemental. Though it appears you will get no Texas kids this year, you have a great class anyway. And next year it looks like you are going to get 3-4 Texans.

Those most at risk are those out of Texas schools dependent upon Texas talent for the bulk of their class.
